WEBINAR MAY 1:- The next Venus Star Point™ is at 14˚ Gemini, Mercury-ruled, on June 4th. It’s a big one for so many reasons. I am offering a webinar on May 1st that will look back at 2012, 2020, and ahead. Radical change is coming! It will be recorded and the slides will be available to download. Not only is Venus is now in her home sign, sensual Taurus, and will be until May 23rd, her Cosmic lover, Mars, enters his home sign, Aries today.
On the last day of April, the chaos of the Eclipses and April begins to ease with both of these planets in their own signs.
Remember, however, that Venus is burned out by the Sun for the the whole period so things are not quite as straight forward as it seems. Pluto is also stationing retrograde pn May 2 and is at the station point now.
However, this is definitely more settles. Mars is ready to take action on the April 8 Eclipse intentions more fully.
Like a greyhound being let out of the gate, Mars says ‘let’s go’ in his home sign. Time for action and forward movement!
First the stoic Capricorn Moon aspects the dregs of the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Pisces though, so the start of the day may be a little ‘muddier’ in nature.
After the Moon moves into Aquarius and Mars moves into Aries at 11:19 and 11:32 AM Eastern, the blast of fire and air will blow cobwebs away and speed things up.
Unfortunately, the ‘madness’ aspect of Mars being conjunct Neptune at the very last degree of Pisces brought at least two awful acts of violence, the shooting of US Marshalls in North Carolina and a knife attack in London. Our drive home late yesterday wasn’t fun either as people seemed to be out of their minds and our car got damaged by a flying object from a truck so we have another insurance claim to make…
Those liminal, anaretic, last degrees can be challenging and the last 24 hours have been for many. Sending love to those affected.
It will be a relief when the energy shifts this morning. I can’t wait! I have slides to polish for my Gemini Venus Star Point webinar tomorrow! This perception-twisting Star Point is a big one for multiple reasons. It will be recorded if you are tempted to sign up and can’t attend live. The slides will also be available for download and an unedited transcript will also be available. See the beginning of this post to register.
After the Moon and Mars change signs, the airy and intellectual Aquarius waning Moon squares Venus and conjuncts Pluto as Venus and Pluto square off with Pluto at a standstill.
This is time to dig deeply into into making those desires manifest. Tap into your resources, your root strengths that are emerging from the last months chaos. There’s an air of ‘you made it’ and time to make the changes you want to see in the world.
Venus and Pluto have a lot in common and Venus is strong in Taurus even if she is burned out by the beams of the Sun. This is about both earthly and soul desires for the future. If you haven’t finished writing or creating the clear vision of what you would like this rebirth to look like, you still can. In fact, you can create it at any time, or go back and edit over and over. The Eclipses were a great time to start this, but no self flagellation if you haven’t :). Even just tuning in and thinking about what you would love to create in your life will help. The cosmos does like clarity and I am talking about the feeling behind it, not numbers in the bank. Always leave your vision open to that which you can’t even imagine at this point <3
Early tomorrow we have the last quarter Moon on the way to a lovely Taurus New Moon
on May 7th.
This is a week of shedding and releasing that which does not support what you wish to create.
I am going to get all personal again (lol) and give you one example of a belief/pattern I am shedding in the hope that it inspires you to fully accepting who you are at core, your ‘self’.
This world I work in is a funny one. There’s a lot of ‘love and light’ purity with spiritual bypassing and gaslighting if one is less than ‘pure’. Because of that I sometimes have felt reluctant to share parts of me that don’t fit that image and one of those parts is my love of a good party hearty session with my man occasionally. Well. we just had a couple of days like that on our trip to LA and Vegas to see a band and meet some of his old friends from the UK at those gigs.
I drank a fair amount lol. And I had a blast! I just can no longer do it often because I am older and I don’t even want to do it all the time. I did it a lot more when younger and it’s not conducive to creating all the things I want to create. But I am now happy admitting that I love to let rip occasionally. I used to feel some shame around that. No more. I am shedding that shame thanks very much. I am MORE accepting of all of me these days. I also recognize I am, like us all, still a work in progress on that path. My ‘lost weekend’ in bars and watching bands was tremendous and a perfect time with Mars and Neptune together in Pisces square my ascendant. Pisces is escapism in many ways.
But now I am home and have work to create. I love that equally.
This is, in my heart, the core of the work I want to do through Astrology and all the tools I use with my membership community. Deep self acceptance of all that you are.
The last quarter Moon is one of letting go of more residual shame, self-limiting beliefs, etc that stop you from fully accepting your whoomanness.
The symbols for this last quarter are just lovely and are a call to carry yourself lightly in the world, with joy and fun, and to recognize that we are all on a path and to accept where we are on that path. The secret to really getting that, imo, is knowing that ‘the path’ or staircase, has no end point. There is no ‘there’ or competition/hierachy on this journey of life.
Sabian symbol Aquarius 12:- “People on stairs graduated upwards” - the them of this is spiral ‘ascent’. I do, however, think we both descending into our full whoomanness and ascending ‘spiritually. Both spirals.
I much prefer John Sandbach’s symbols on this degree :)
Enjoy <3
“Aquarius 12. A man struck by lightning is miraculously unharmed. (Omega Symbol) Transforming/Sensitive
(Degree Angel: HAHEUIAH (ha-HOO-ee-YAH) Overcoming Jealousy, Protection)
This degree can manifest a lightness of attitude that protects it from almost anything. It has an innate understanding that it is one's own karma which is dangerous, and not anything outside the self. And so karma may become a protection when one is truly working to clear negativity, for life will always support that process, no matter what the outer circumstances.
The Chandra Symbol for this degree is “A heated argument turns into laughter.” It is a wonderful thing to be serious and passionate about life, but not good when, through our attachment we turn what is important to us into a burden. This degree is about knowing and focusing on what is important to us, while learning to carry it lightly. When we attune to the greater spiritual reality from which our consciousness has arisen, we inevitably come to know the joy of pure being.”
I love you.
INVITATION TO YOU:-
Join me in Utah in October
I am a Peer Group leader at the wonderful OPA Retreat in Park City Utah in October. I LOVE OPA Retreats. They have a certain intimacy and connection lacking in some events (the other events have different strengths).
I would like to invite you to the Retreat on October 16-21. There are fabulous speakers (and a day pass for just that day is also available) but what’s unique about OPA Retreats is the opportunity to do an in-person Peer Group, a track to learn a new technique or an in-person Consulting Skills class. At the core of all those options is becoming an ethical Astrologer or learning more Astrology. Plus we would get to meet!
The Retreat is called “Celebrating the Aquarian Shift”
And the theme is “Connect and Learn”
If you register this month there is an early bird price and also payment plans available! Check it out and register at this link.
REGISTER for the OPA retreat now!
Have a good one.
I know I will

Louise, thank you for sharing in today's post about your weekend. I love my job with all my heart and it requires focus and control because of its intensity. And as one on the spiritual path, my goals are to practice presence and acceptance of whatever is arising for me emotionally - and to stay with the feelings, not try to repress or bypass or numb out. To witness with compassion and be less judgmental toward myself. Not easy, but that's the task before me where I am currently in my life journey. I embrace it willingly and am finally at a place in my emotional healing where I can start practicing that with joy. And yet, sometimes I need to indulge...whether it be drinking alcohol or binging Netflix. Both can be a form of strange therapy though my ego does not want to admit it and prefers shame/guilt. I am working on acceptance and somehow your sharing caught me at just the right moment I always enjoy your writing but particular thanks for today's submission. I needed to be reminded that's it's okay to be human and let go of my otherwise higher standards (which serve me well and which I choose to do with glad intention). Thanks so much for sharing your passion and insights with us. Peace and Every Good, Karen. P.S. Someday I will become a paid subscriber, I promise :) In the meantime, blessings for your generosity...
