Snakes shed skin. Sparks strike stone. And still, we rise.
The Magician showed up this morning, baring his chest to the world — heart marked, power charged, gaze unwavering. He reminds us that magic isn’t some distant light; it’s in our blood and breath and refusal to back down. He is the alchemist of anger and the sovereign of soul-force.
And today, this card doesn’t show up lightly.
Last night, a shooting tore through the “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City. My own home. My own friends. They were there. One person is critically wounded. All are forever changed.
This — like the tragic Minnesota shootings earlier yesterday — is not random. It is the bitter fruit of a regime that wields violence as gospel. And we name it. We must name it.
But here’s the charge of The Magician: we are not powerless.
We do not merely react — we transmute. The Sun trines Pallas in Aquarius today, and tomorrow the Moon moves through a fierce tangle of aspects — connecting to Eris, Chiron, and Uranus. This is spark-and-wire energy, revolutionary circuitry coursing through the air. It’s volatile. But it’s also visionary.
These aspects are asking: What will you do with the fire?
Will you let it burn you hollow — or shape it into brilliance?
