We’re in the thick of a Libra first quarter Moon today—square the Cancer Sun at 11°, marking the sacred tension point where something asks to be acted on. But here’s the kicker: the Moon is considered void of course after opposing Ceres this afternoon… and remains void until Friday morning.

That’s a long cosmic pause. The kind that says: don’t push. Don’t force. Just be with what’s unfolding.

And yet... I always question the old “rules.” Because even in the so-called void, this Moon will oppose Eris and Chiron tomorrow—two potent disruptors and healers of collective story. And tonight, it trines Hygeia—a whisper of wellness threading its way through the static. So is it really void, or are we being invited to perceive with new eyes?

I pulled The Hermit today, and honestly, it fits. In this strange in-between, the path is lit from within. The Hermit reminds us that wisdom isn’t always loud or external—it often lives in silence, in tending, in the choice not to react. A perfect guide for this week’s quieter call: lay low, take care, and let the undercurrents rise before you decide what to do with them.

Meanwhile, the bloated behemoth of a budget bill just passed the Senate and is now lurching back to the House—right into this lunar void. It’s not exactly promising. In astrological terms, it’s like trying to anchor a ship on a ghost tide.

But here’s what is clear: this Moon phase is a crossroads, and the symbols for today’s Moon are potent:

🌿 Omega: A man gathering seeds from a white morning glory
🔥 Chandra: The burning of a bough of sage

I have decided to change the official publication date to August 12th. The astrology is better and my soul and gut say this is the right thing to do.
