When a new planetary body is discovered and named, many Astrologers are informed by the myth of that name.

After working with Ceres for some years, I find it impossible to separate the myth of Ceres, the Roman Goddess, from that of Demeter, the Greek Goddess.

We’ll take a look at both these Goddesses and the stories told and then I will weave my story of Ceres that has both been informed by those stories and my own connection with Ceres.
