Happy MERCURY day!
The Moon is now in the Last Quarter phase of the Lunar cycle this morning and on day 23/4 of this lunar cycle. The Moon has 41.8% light as I write.

Anyone else feel more overwhelmed and emotional under this waning, out-of-bounds, and between Eclipses Cancer Moon?
I am always grateful for Astrology and knowing what’s happening in the skies because I can recognize when I feel a certain way and, if I feel rather overwhelmed and start having random thoughts of ‘jacking it all in’ (as in my work), I know it will pass.
I explained why the Cancer Moon is more extremely out-of-bounds than usual yesterday. Lunistice or the Major Lunar Standstill is this year. Go back to yesterday’s post if you wish for more. Of course I was born under a minor Lunar standstill at the end of 1959 so perhaps when the Moon is at the extreme opposite declination I feel it more? In technical terms, a major lunar standstill occurs when the Moon's declination reaches a maximum monthly limit, at around 28.72° north or south, whereas a minor lunar standstill occurs when the declination reaches a minimum monthly limit, at around 18.13° north or south.
This is an advanced technique for an individual but if you know astrology, or have software that can look up declinations, it’s interesting. My Moon was at 17˚ 35’ North when I was born and today the Moon is at 28˚ 2’ North. That’s a big variable. It’s fairly easy to google dates for lunar maximums and minimums and it’s a fairly ‘new to me’ technique so I am still learning :)
This year also happens to be a Solar Maximum and it’s rare for the two to coincide as Mystic Medusa points out in this article, with dates. https://mysticmedusa.com/dreams-and-symbolism/solar-max-lunar-max-are-here/
Lunar Max occurs every 18.6 years and like Eclipses, it’s tied into the Moon’s Nodes: Maximum is when the North Node is in Aries, approaching Zero and Minimum is when the North Node is approaching Zero of Libra (my North Node is 0˚ Libra).
Do I fully understand what it means? Not really, I need to research more.
However, intuitively, it tells me that having a lunar and solar maximum at the same time means ‘heightened’ energy, adding to the other big shifts we have occurring. I also find it interesting that the Lunar max and minimum are tied to the Lunar Nodes at the world axis points, 0˚ Aries/Libra. We sure are going through a time of immense change.
As usual I digress…… - I will send the digression out to free subs too but onto the daily for paid subs :)
